During the seventh century Mohammed founded the Islam religion. Very impressive to know he established the first Islamic state, a theocracy in Medina, a city in Western Saudi Arabia located north of Mecca. Over a course of time he founded two branches of the religion. The Sunni branch have faith in that the first four caliphs Mohammed s descendants technically took his place as the leaders of Muslims. They identify the inheritors of the four caliphs as authentic spiritual leaders. These inheritors administrated always in the Arab society up until the division of the Ottoman Empire after the end of the First World War. Although that Sunni and Shia Muslims come from a shared historical tradition but, viewed the history of Islam very differently. The Sunni Muslims came into existence by a supporter of one of the two great religious splitting up of Islam. On the subject of the original four caliphs as valid descendants of Muhammad and underlining the significance of Sunna as a source for law. In most Islamic countries outside of Iran, Yemen, and Bahrain the majority of the people are Sunni. The term Sunna was defined as the trodden path, the way as an illustration otherwise a usual practice discusses to the illustration or the direction of the Prophet Muhammad and his supporters.
